Salisbury Seniors Nathan Blondino and Colin Reymann Sweep CAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honors
YORK, Pa. -- Salisbury seniors Nathan Blondino and Colin Reymann swept the CAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week awards for April 10, 2017.

Salisbury senior Nathan Blondino received CAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second straight week after putting up 15 points in the Sea Gulls' 2-0 week. Blondino started off with a four-goal, four-assist game against Christopher Newport before posting a two-goal, five-assist performance against Frostburg State. Blondino's 82 points leads the CAC as he boasts 50 assists in just 14 games.

Salisbury senior Colin Reymann was named CAC Defensive Player of the Week after allowing just 14 goals during key CAC wins over Christopher Newport and Frostburg State last week. Reymann stopped 62.5% of the shots fired his way, recorded 20 saves, and a 6.40 goals againt average in the pair of victories. The highlight of Reymann's week came throughout the first half against Christopher Newport, as he stopped 10 shots and allowed just one goal in the opening stanza of that contest.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE
Salisbury is ranked No. 1 in the Nike/USILA National Rankings, while York is ranked No. 3 ... Christopher Newport's Will Geise led the Captains with eight points during the week, including six goals. He also took down a pair of program records, eclipsing the single-season marks for goals and points. Against Salisbury, he registered his 40th goal of the year, topping the previous standard of 39 set by current teammate Matthew Crist last year. Three days later, he took down the points record as well after notching his 63rd of the season, beating Crist's old standard of 58 set in 2016 ... Frostburg State senior Kyle Horak won 30-of-53 faceoffs in two games, including a 19-of-29 effort against No. 1 Salisbury ... Senior Miles Davis led Mary Washington to an 11-7 win over St. Mary's on Wednesday, dishing out five assists in the Eagle victory. He has 15 goals and 25 assists on the season ... Marymount defeated St. Mary's for the first time since 1997. Nathan Beard, junior captain for the Saints, posted a career- and game-high six points in the win. Beard posted a hat trick of goals for the second time this season, while sending out three assists. Sophomore long pole Hunter McGeeney caused a game-high four turnovers to go along with five ground balls on the defensive end. McGeeney now has 27 caused turnovers this season (2nd most in CAC) ... St. Mary's sophomore Ray LaPlaca found the back of the net a career-best four times at Marymount while adding three ground balls in a 1-1 week ... Southern Virginia junior Casey Rich recorded a hat trick in both conference games last week, as well as two assists vs. Frostburg State. Rich ranks second on Knights with 37 goals & 110 shots this season ... Wesley freshman goalkeeper James Cella stopped 48 shots for the Wolverines last week. Cella leads the CAC with 213 saves and ranks fifth in save percentage, saving 51.8% of shots he faces ... York sophomore Cameron Leech totaled 11 points on three goals and eight assists in CAC wins over Wesley and Southern Virginia. For the year, Leech has 50 points on 15 goals and a team-best 35 assists. Leech's 35 assists ranks him second in the CAC. Junior Joey Fiorino led the Spartan defense with six ground balls and a caused turnover. The Spartans shutout Wesley, marking the second shutout in program history with theothre coming on April 7, 2009 in a 9-0 win over Susquehanna. For the year, Fiorino has 35 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers and two goals in 15 games for the Green and White.
