Christopher Newport's Will Geise matched the single-game program record for points after notching six goals and three assists during a 19-12 victory over Southern Virginia on Wednesday. With that nine-point outing, he equaled the school record set by Andrew Evans against Tri-State in 2013 and matched by Geise against Messiah earlier this season. His six goals also equaled the second-highest single-game output in program history, and his final strike marked the 100th of his career - helping him become the first player in CNU history to reach that plateau ... Frostburg State's Kyle Horak won 24-of-39 faceoffs last week and scooped up 14 ground balls in a 1-1 week for the Bobcats. He won 62.5 percent of his faceoffs (15-of-24) in a win over Marymount ... Senior Miles Davis was a key cog in the Mary Washington offense this week, registering two goals and seven assists, as the Eagles split CAC games with Wesley and York. He scored once and added four assists in the win at Wesley, and added a goal and three assists in UMW's loss to No. 6 York ... Marymount junior Brent Sulhoff posted a game-high four points on Saturday against Frostburg State, registering a hat trick of goals to go along with an assist, while scooping up a ground ball. For the day, he was 100 percent on his shooting, taking just three shots, all on target, and all finding the back of the net. Goalkeeper Grey Clarkson had a pair of double-digit save games for the Saints, collecting 11 saves against No. 1 Salisbury and following it up with 10 saves against Frostburg State ... Michael Bucci won a season-best 18 face-offs in leading St. Mary's to its first win of the season against Wesley. Bucci also scooped up nine ground balls and tallied a season-best two points (1 g, 1 a) ... Salisbury's Duncan Campbell controlled the X all week for the Sea Gulls in their three games. At week's end Campbell was over 60% with a 31-for-51 mark for his faceoffs. Campbell best game came when he won 14-of-18 faceoffs against Southern Virginia and scooped up 10 groundballs ... Southern Virginia freshman Shawn Lamb led the Knights with eight points last week. He leads team in goals, assists and shots this season ... Josh Wassum led the Wesley offense with six goals on the week and also scooped up seven ground balls. James Cella made 36 saves in two games for the Wolverines ...
