Marymount senior guard Jesse Konadu was named the CAC Player of the Week after leading the Saints to key CAC wins over Salisbury and Christopher Newport last week. Konadu avearged 16.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.0 three-pointers for the week. He shot 50% from the floor and 57.1% from long range, while also adding a steal per contest.

Marymount took over first place in the CAC standings with a 62-60 victory over Christopher Newport on Saturday ... With his first make at Marymount, Christopher Newport senior Mike Cherry registered his 200th career three-pointer. He is just the third player in program history to reach 200 career 3-pointers made. Cherry also moved up to 12th on the CNU all-time scoring chart, with 1,308 career points ... Frostburg State's Jerel Carter totaled 42 points in two games, including a 34-point effort in a win over York ... Eric Shaw led Mary Washington to a pair of CAC wins this week, shooting 50% and averaging 13.0 PPG while grabbing 6.5 rebounds per game. The Eagles topped Southern Virginia and Penn State Harrisburg and climbed into contention for a playoff spot in the CAC standings ... Justin Witmer led the Salisbury offense in both games this week, scoring 15.5 points per game including 70% shooting (7-of-10) from three-point range ... Southern Virginia's Cody Hosier shot 6-of-7 from three-point range to lead Knights with 18 points against Mary Washington last Wednesday ... York posted a 1-1 week, led by 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game from Dalton Myers.
