Wesley junior Anthony Bowers was named CAC Player of the Week after pouring in career-highs of 20 points and five three-pointers in Wesley's 77-72 CAC win at York on Saturday. Bowers shot 53.8% (7-of-13) from the field and 62.5% (5-of-8) from three-point land, while also adding two steals in the victory.

All but two CAC teams were in action last week ... Two CAC contests took place, with Salisbury topping Christopher Newport 54-48 and Wesley defeating York 77-72 ... Christopher Newport and Marymount are receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Top-25 Poll ... Frostburg State opened the Rotary of Frederick Holiday Classic with an 82-77 triumph over host Hood, before falling 77-68 to Eastern Mennonite in the title game. Breon Powell and Jabari Kamau earned all-tournament team honors ... Senior Taylor Johnson led Mary Washington with 14.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest in a pair of games last week. He scored 10 points in a loss at Va. Wesleyan, and then went for 18 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to Randolph, which was his fourth double-double of the season ... Marymount traveled to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the Daytona Beach Shootout, earning wins over Maryville (Tenn.) 57-49 and Roanoke (76-62) ... Tanner Brooks was a key factor in St. Mary's third straight win as Brooks came off the bench to contribute 16 points - 14 of which came in the second half - and 4 steals in the Seahawks 60-46 victory at Widener.
