Christopher Newport senior Tim Daly was named the CAC Player of the Week after nearly averaging a double-double in a 2-0 week for the third-ranked Captains. In victories over Mary Washington and St. Mary's, Daly averaged 18.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game while shooting 72.7% (16-of-22) from the field. Against St. Mary's, he set a new career high with 28 points to go along with 12 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. He added 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest for the week. CNU has now won 13 straight games.

York is in third place at 13-8, 8-6, Marymount (10-11, 7-7) and Wesley (9-12, 7-7) are tied for fourth, and Mary Washington (10-11, 6-8) and Penn State Harrisburg (9-12, 6-8) are tied for sixth. Salisbury senior Justin Witmer scored his 1,000th career point during the Sea Gulls' win against York, becoming the 32nd 1,000-point scorer in program history ... Southern Virginia's Michael Price scored a career-high 25 points to spur Knights in win over Penn State Harrisburg. Price shot 75% from three-point range and went 13-of-14 at the free throw line ... York junior Matt Scamuffo averaged 24 points per game in a 1-1 week for the Spartans, including a career-high 35 points in Saturday's loss to No. 14 Salisbury. Scamuffo tied a school record by draining nine three-pointers in the game, tying a school record and ranking tied for third all-time in CAC contests.
