Wesley senior Rasahn Brinkley was tabbed as the CAC Player of the Week after notching 19 points and 15 rebounds in a comeback victory over Frostburg State on Sunday. Trailing by four points at halftime, Brinkley provided a spark off the bench following the intermission, tallying 13 points and 10 rebounds in the second half to help the Wolverines to a 21-point victory. Brinkley also added two assists, two steals and one block in the CAC win.

In the D3hoops.com week 2 rankings, Christopher Newport is ranked No. 6 and Salisbury is No. 15 ... Salisbury is the lone remaining unbeaten in the CAC at 7-0 ... CNU and Salisbury are 3-0 in CAC play ... CNU senior Tim Daly became the 30th player in CNU history to reach 1,000 points on Sunday, leading the Captains to a home win over York. Daly's 15 points give him 1,001 for his career, and he also contributed six rebounds as the sixth-ranked Captains improved to 6-1 overalll and 3-0 in the CAC ... Frostburg State junior Tyler Michael led the Bobcats in scoring in both games last week. He scored 19 points against both Penn State Harrisburg and Wesley ... Mary Washington freshman Austin Hall turned in a consistent week for the Eagles, scoring 19 points and grabbing five rebounds in an overtime loss at St. Mary's and adding 16 points and four assists in a win over Marymount. Hall shot 44% from the field, making 3-of-8 three-pointers, and sinking 7-of-9 free throws in the two contests ... Marymount freshman Ibrahim Kamara averaged 15.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game last week, helping the Saints to a 3-0 start in league play before falling to Mary Washington over the weekend ... In a 2-0 week for St. Mary's, Ochae Bynum led the Seahawks with a 42.9% three-point field goal percentage and 5.5 assists while averaging 13.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. Bynum paced the team in the win over Penn State Harrisburg with a team-best 17 points. He assisted on Delaszo Smith's game-tying three-pointer with 1.1 seconds left in regulation to send the game with Mary Washington into OT ... Salisbury junior Chad Barcikowski lit it up from outside in Salisbury's lone game of the week at Southern Virginia, hitting 6-of-7 three-pointers, scoring a game-high-tying 18 points in the victory. He also had four rebounds, two steals, and two assists as Salisbury got out to its best start in program history with its seventh-straight win ... Southern Virginia junior Aarun Rumbaugh led the team this week in points and rebounds per game. For the year, Rumbaugh leads the Knights in scoring and assists, and ranks second in rebounding ... York senior Dalton Myers enters Wednesday's game three points short of 1,000 for his career. York's loss to CNU snapped a three-game winning streak for the Spartans. Both of York's losses have come to nationally-ranked squads.
