York junior Dalton Myers earned CAC Player of the Week accolades for the second time this year after powering the Spartans to a 72-66 CAC win against Mary Washington in the Spartans' lone game of the week. Myers tallied 20 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor and an 8-for-11 performance from the free throw line. He also pulled in five rebounds and dished out two assists to help York improve to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in CAC play.

In the D3hoops.com Week 2 National Rankings, Christopher Newport is ranked 13th and Salisbury is ranked 21st ... CNU is the lone unbeaten team at 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the CAC, while Southern Virginia is 2-0 in CAC play ... CNU defeated 12th-ranked Virginia Wesleyan 64-61 on Sunday ... Mary Washington junior T.J. Jones scored 15 points as the Eagles fell at York on Saturday ... Marymount sophomore D'Ondre Stockman helped the Saints back into the win column on Sunday with a victory over McDaniel behind his team-high 15 points. Earlier in the week, Stockman registered a career-high five assists against Lebanon Valley to go along with eight points and four rebounds ... Wesley senior Wayne Lennon notched eight points, 11 rebounds and a season-high seven steals in the Wolverines' loss to Division I Elon ... York had three players reach double figures in the win over UMW including a season-high 13 from junior Brad Wesner. The Spartans are now 5-0 at home this season. Dalton Myers has reached 20-plus points in three of his eight games this year.
