FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Mary Washington sophomore Rachel Summers earned CAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors for the second straight week and fourth time this season on May 1, 2018.

Mary Washington sophomore Rachel Summers earned CAC Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this season after picking up singles and doubles wins in the Eagles' victory over No. 15 Washington & Lee on Saturday. In doubles, she paired with Caroline Mosberg to defeat Valerie Marshall and Lily Horsley at the No. 2 position, 8-7 (4), to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead after doubles. She then scored a pivotal 6-3, 5-0 (ret.) win at No. 2 singles over Marshall as the Eagles gained the one-point victory. She improved to 11-3 on the spring in singles play.
