Salisbury Duo of Sophomore Alex Pryor and Senior Tabitha Brown Awarded as CAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- Salisbury sophomore Alex Pryor and senior Tabitha Brown swept the CAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week for Sept. 21, 2015.

Salisbury sophomore Alex Pryor was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after registering two assists in the Sea Gulls' 3-1 victory over Catholic on Saturday. Pryor's first assist led to the equalizer that tied the game at 1-1 in the 40th minute of play, and her second helper of the day led to the go-ahead goal that put the Sea Gulls up 2-1 in the 50th minute.

Salisbury senior Tabitha Brown was selected as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after helping lead Salisbury to a 3-1 victory over Catholic on Saturday. In the Sea Gulls' only game of the week, Brown anchored an SU defense that allowed just one goal from Catholic, a squad that is averaging four goals per contest this season.

Christopher Newport's Victoria Perry scored both goals in a 2-1 overtime win at Virginia Wesleyan. She now has seven career goals, including three game-winners, and two assists in eight games at Foster Field on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan. The Captains went 1-2 last week with losses to No. 24 Wheaton (Ill.) and Chicago ... Leah Yurko scored three goals in a 1-2 week for Frostburg State ...
