Salisbury senior Julia McLaughlin secured CAC Player of the Week honors after leading the Sea Gulls to a fourth-quarter comeback victory over Virginia Wesleyan in Saturday's season opener. McLaughlin posted a double-double with 22 points and 19 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the floor. She also added three steals, two blocks and two assists in the win.

Mary Washington received 32 votes in the D3hoops.com poll ... CAC teams posted a 6-2 record over opening weekend ... Sam Porter led Christopher Newport to a 79-63 win over Washington & Lee with a career-high 19 points along with eight rebounds, three steals and two assists in the season-opening victory. All five CNU starters were in double figures in the opener. The Captains improved to 4-0 in home openers under Coach Bill Broderick, and 13-3 all-time in the Freeman Center ... St. Mary's sophomore Kerri Kline was named to the Dan Greene Memorial Invitational All-Tournament Team after leading St. Mary's to a 1-1 season-opening weekend. The Seahawks notched a season-opening win for the first time since 2012 as Kline tallied a career-best 26 points vs. Oglethorpe, connecting on a career-high four three-point field goals ... Marymount opened up the 2015-16 season on Saturday afternoon, cruising past Elizabethtown 62-42, as eight different Saints registered points. Leading the offense was senior guard Kievanna Lacey with a game-high 16 points, shooting 7-of-8 from the field ... York overcame a 13-point deficit to earn a 63-60 win at Arcadia on Saturday. A balanced attack led the Spartans to the victory, as five players recorded at least eight points, paced by nine from Katie Wagner ... Penn State Harrisburg notched a 69-55 home victory over Franklin & Marshall. Jasmine Yanich led the offense with 14 points, while Yolanna Snypse posted a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Lions.
