YORK, Pa. -- Mary Washington sophomore Glenn Taylor and York junior Robert Doster received CAC Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week accolades for March 25, 2015.

Mary Washington sophomore Glenn Taylor earned CAC Track Athlete of the Week honors after winning 100 meter dash at the Battleground Relays last Friday. Taylor finished with a time of 10.82, which is the top time in the CAC and the second-fastest time in Division III so far this spring.

York junior Robert Doster claimed CAC Field Athlete of the Week after opening his outdoor season with a pair of top-two finishes on Saturday at the Elizabethtown Early Bird Opener. Doster won the javelin with a throw 187'-7" which placed him 29'-5" ahead of the second-place finisher and currently ranks him first in the conference and eighth in the nation. Doster also placed second in the shot put with a throw of 39'-2.25".

Five CAC track & field teams have opened up the spring campaign ... Christopher Newport junior Robert Graham led all Division III competitors in the hammer and finished second in the javelin during the Tribe Invitational ... Frostburg State's J.R. Lowery tossed an ECAC-qualifying throw in the shot put of 49'-9.75" as the Bobcats opened their outdoor campaign at the CalU Early Bird Invitational. Lowery's mark is the eighth-longest in the nation and tops in the CAC ... Salisbury's Thomas Burke led the Sea Gull runners at the UNC-Wilmington Invitational, taking first in the 800 meters at 1:54.52 - the eighth best time in the nation so far this spring. Dylan Burkett won the shot put with a throw of 48'-2" ... York's Darnell Tillman grabbed two first-place finishes and broke a 26-year-old school record on Saturday at the Elizabethtwon Early Bird Opener. Tillman recorded a time of 49.83 in the 400-meter dash, breaking the old school record of 50.90 set in 1989. He also won the 200-meter dash at 22.08.
