York Sophomore Joel Teston and Salisbury Senior Drew Staedeli Named CAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week
YORK, Pa. -- York sophomore Joel Teston and Salisbury senior Drew Staedeli were named the CAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week for Oct. 26, 2015.

York sophomore Joel Teston was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Spartans to a pair of key conference wins with four goals and three assists last week and a school-record-breaking performance. Teston began the week with the game-winning goal and an assist in a 2-0 win at Wesley. He then posted a career day in the Spartans' 9-0 victory over Southern Virginia, tallying three goals and two assists for a school-record eight points.

Salisbury senior Drew Staedeli earned CAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after setting career-highs for saves in both of the Sea Gulls' contests last week while allowing just one goal in 220 minutes of action. In a 1-1 tie against No. 20 Christopher Newport, Staedeli stopped nine shots to set a career high. In Salisbury's second game of the week, a scoreless draw with Frostburg State, he once again set a career-high in saves with 10. The shutout was the sixth of the season for Staedeli. For the week, he posted a .950 save percentage and 0.41 goals against average.

Christopher Newport is ranked No. 20 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Rankings and No. 15 in the D3soccer.com rankings, while Salisbury is receiving votes in the NSCAA poll ... Frostburg State's Serigne Gueye handed out two assists in the Bobcats' 4-0 win over Penn State Harrisburg ... Mary Washington senior Mike Bennett led the Eagles to a 1-0-1 week, scoring a goal in a 2-2 tie at St. Mary's and adding an assist on the game winning score on Saturday against No. 20 CNU. Bennett has three goals and an assist for the season ... Marymount's Andrew Ferguson helped the Saints to a 2-0 week with one assist in each game in victories over Southern Virginia (2-1) and Penn State Harrisburg (2-0). In the past five games, Ferguson has recorded a goal and four assists for six points, all of which total his career points. Goalkeeper Logan Cropper now holds a .795 save percentage (third best in the league) and four shutouts this season ... Will Mileski helped Wesley secure its first home playoff game since 2008 in a win against St. Mary's on Saturday. The forward posted an assist and netted the game-winning goal with under 10 minutes left, burying a penalty kick for a 3-2 victory. Mileski's game-winner gave the Wolverines a 6-2 mark in conference play, guaranteeing them at least the third seed in the conference tournament.
