YORK, Pa. -- Wesley sophomore Eman Amao and York sophomore Charlie Johnson earned CAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors for Sept. 15, 2014.  

Offensive Player of the Week

Wesley sophomore Eman Amao was chosen as the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after totaling a goal and two assists in a 2-0 week for the Wolverines. Amao notched a goal and an assist in a 5-0 win at Penn State York, and assisted on the game's lone goal against Moravian in Wesley's rainy home opener. 

Defensive Player of the Week

York sophomore Charlie Johnson was honored as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after registering a 1-0-1 week as the Spartans defeated Alvernia 2-1 and tied Susquehanna 0-0. Johnson made two saves in the victory over Alvernia, before posting another two saves against Susquehanna in his second shutout of the year.

Christopher Newport vaulted from #17 to #6 in last week's NSCAA National Rankings ... CNU (#14) and Salisbury (#16) are ranked in the D3soccer.com top 25 ... Mary Washington saw five different players score goals in a 5-1 win over Catholic before falling at Kean, 1-0, on Saturday ... Marymount sophomore striker Ahmed Elmanialawy broke the school single-game goal-scoring record with four tallies in the Saints 12-1 win over Patrick Henry ... Salisbury sophomore Brad Martinelli scored the game-winner in a double-overtime victory against N.C. Wesleyan to keep Salisbury unbeaten through five games ... Peter Lundgaard recorded the game-winning goal for York in the Spartans' first win of the season as they defeated Alvernia 2-1 on Wednesday.
