Mary Washington Women's Swimming Complete Perfect CAC Regular Season; Frostburg State and St. Mary's Claim Non-Conference Wins
With the 2015 CAC Championships quickly approaching, this weekend marked the final regular season contests for the majority of CAC women's swimming squads, headlined by Mary Washington's victories over Marymount and Frostburg State to finish off a perfect 5-0 CAC campaign.
Mary Washington opened the weekend with a 135-57 non-conference setback at Johns Hopkins on Friday, but bounced back with home triumphs over Marymount (169-79) and Frostburg State (166-82).
Frostburg State also competed on Friday, defeating Elizabethtown 135-124 in a tight dual.
St. Mary's earned a 118-87 victory over visiting Catholic on Saturday, improving the Seahawks to 12-3 on the year.
The CAC Championship are set for Feb. 20-22 at St. Mary's.
