Christopher Newport and Mary Washington Acquire NCAA Women's Soccer Championship Bids

Christopher Newport and Mary Washington were selected to represent the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) in the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship, with the 64-team field announced Monday (Nov. 10).
CNU (14-1-3) earned the conference's automatic bid and will host Penn State Harrisburg (14-5-4) in the opening round while also welcoming in Rowan (13-1-4) to take on Misericordia (15-4-1). The two advancing teams will play on Sunday in the second round with a Round of 16 berth on the line.
UMW (12-3-4) earned an at-large bid and will play Vassar in the first round at Williamstown, Massachusetts. The winner will face either host Williams or John Jay in the second round.
Forty-three conferences were awarded automatic qualification for the 2025 championship. The other 21 berths were reserved for at-large selections designated by the NPI.
Sixteen four-team sites will conduct first- and second-round play on the first weekend of the championship, November 14 and 15 or 15 and 16. Second-round winners will advance to one of four sectional sites November 21 and 22 or 22 and 23. All games, except the semifinals and final, will be played on the campuses of competing institutions.
Winners of the four sectionals will advance to the semifinals December 4 and 6, at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Virginia, with Old Dominion Athletic Conference and City of Salem serving as hosts. The Division III men's soccer national semifinals and championship games will also be held at Kerr Stadium with games on Dec. 5 and Dec. 7.
