The Frostburg State, St. Mary's and Wesley women's soccer teams were among the 43 NCAA teams (men's and women's, all divisions) that were named to the 2011 NSCAA Team Ethics Awards Winners list.

The NSCAA Team Ethics/Sportsmanship Silver Award for exhibiting fair play, sporting behavior, and adherence to the laws of the game as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards shown by referees throughout the 2011 season.  The Bobcats, Seahawks and Wolverines were all honored with the Silver Awards. 

Thirteen teams nationally completed the season with Gold Awards for receiving no cards at all, and 16 teams won Bronze Awards for no red cards and less than 10 yellow cards in 2011.

It is the fourth-straight year for the FSU Bobcats, coached by Brian Parker, to win the award.  It was also the third-straight year for St. Mary's, coached by Brianne Weaver, to gain the NSCAA Team Ethics Award and the first for Wesley, coached by Ed Muntz.
