SU’s Doyle, Ellis Capture C2C Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Honors

The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 11th week of the 2026 women's lacrosse season. Salisbury's Grace Doyle was tabbed C2C Offensive Player of the Week, while the Sea Gulls Paige Ellis earned C2C Defensive Player of the Week honors.

 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Grace Doyle, Salisbury

Salisbury senior Grace Doyle tied a career best with four goals on five shots to lead the Sea Gulls to a 15-9 win over CNU. She nailed two free position scores in the fourth quarter to clinch a 16-0 regular season and home-field advantage for the C2C Championship.

 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Paige Ellis, Salisbury

Salisbury senior Paige Ellis made a season-high 11 stops, helping thwart CNU 15-9 and secure a 16-0 regular season and home-field advantage for the C2C Championship.

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Newport's Faith O'Connor posted a team-high three points during a 15-9 setback at No. 4 Salisbury on Saturday. Against the Sea Gulls, she registered her 15th multi-goal effort of the season while also collecting her career-high 12th assist of the year… Junior midfielder Abigail Fisher scored seven goals this week in a pair of Mary Washington wins. She scored once with a ground ball and one caused turnover in a 13-3 win at Bridgewater and then scored a career high six goals in a 12-11 win at Dickinson on Saturday… Christopher Newport's Gabby Saia led the Captains with three caused turnovers during a 15-9 setback at No. 4 Salisbury on Saturday. That marked her third consecutive game with multiple takeaways and her ninth of the season. She also hauled in a team-high two ground balls against the Sea Gulls… Junior goalie Cece Van Blenis led Mary Washington to a pair of wins this week in goal. She allowed one goal with three saves in 45 minutes in a 13-3 win at Bridgewater College on Wednesday, and then had a big day with nine saves in a 12-11 win at Dickinson College on Saturday. She also added five ground balls on the week.
