Salisbury's Megan Wallenhorst and Jim Nestor Receive Major ECAC South All-Star Awards
ECAC South Women's Lacrosse All-Star Team
The Eastern College Athletic Conference has named Salisbury's Megan Wallenhorst its 2016 Division III ECAC South women's lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year and SU head coach Jim Nestor the ECAC South Coach of the Year.
The Sea Gulls also had five named to the All-ECAC South All-Star teams, while Marymount received one all-star nod.
Salisbury goalkeeper Gianna Falcone was the lone first team selection among the six CAC players on the All-ECAC squad. Salisbury's Wallenhorst (attack), Gabbi Nieves (midfield), Kayla Miller (defense), and Kasey Koolage (defense) each landed on the second team.
Marymount's Liah Agouras was a second team selection at defense.
