Mary Washington junior Catherine Kennedy and Salisbury seniors Trish DiGirolomo and Liz Filgueras were named to the 2011 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America team.

Kennedy and DiGirolomo both earned first-team All-America honors on the attack line while Filgueras gained a second-team nod on defense.

The 48 student-athletes on the 2011 IWLCA Division III All-America team, who were previously named to their respective All-Region squads this season, will be honored at the IWLCA All-American banquet on June 11, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.

Through three seasons, Kennedy has rewritten the Mary Washington record book, breaking the season goals and points records in 2011 while breaking the school's career scoring record. This year, she scored 115 points on 79 goals and 36 assists, giving her 237 career goals and 71 assists (308 points). She was a third team All-American as a freshman in 2009 and a second team All-America pick last spring.
