UC Santa Cruz's Emilie Ngo Captures C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week Accolades

The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 14th week of the 2025-26 women's basketball season. UC Santa Cruz sophomore guard Emilie Ngo was tabbed C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week.


WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Emilie Ngo, UC Santa Cruz

UC Santa Cruz sophomore guard Emilie Ngo dropped a career high 33 points with six assists, five steals, three rebounds and one block in a 74-62 victory over Simpson. Ngo's 33 points tie for the fourth most points scored by a Banana Slug in a single game and the first to do so since the 2021-22 season. Ngo went 11-for-14 (78.6%) from the field, including 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and 7-for-11 from the free throw line.

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Salisbury junior guard Nicole Miller, the Medford, N.J. native, helped the Sea Gulls to a 2-0 record this past week with wins over Franklin & Marshall and Swarthmore, both on the road. Miller tallied 31 total points on 46 percent shooting, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals between the two games. She also entered the Salisbury University Women's Basketball record books by becoming only the third player since 2010 to reach the 1,000 career points mark. Christopher Newport senior guard McKenna Snively led the Captains in scoring in a 69-46 win over Mary Washington to help the Captains improve to 17-4 overall this season. She scored a game-high 12 points after knocking down three three-pointers in four attempts (.750) and finished the game 4-for-6 (.667) from the field. In 17 minutes of play, Snively added four assists, three rebounds, two steals, and one blocked shot. JWU Charlotte junior guard Korletta Daniels played a starring role in the Wildcats' 102-45 win over Regent on February 7th. She poured in 20 points on 10-17 shooting, one point off of her career-high. In addition to her scoring, she had a great all-around outing, recording 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 8 steals. In three games this week, Regent freshman guard Kennedy Shipman averaged 18.3 points/game with a high of 21 against Johnson & Wales. In Regent's win over Warren Wilson, Shipman drained the game-winning three with 12.7 seconds helping the Royals win 71-70. Mary Washington sophomore center Juliona Mabie scored a team-high 10 points in the Eagles lone game of the week against CNU. She added four rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block.
