The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the seventh week of the 2025-26 women's basketball season. Christopher Newport junior Jessica Dornak was named C2C Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jessica Dornak, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport junior Jessica Dornak started all three games as the Captains picked up a road win at Virginia Wesleyan and swept a pair in the Nelson Hinson Invitational at home, including a thrilling 81-73 win against Catholic, receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Top 25. Dornak played just nine minutes due to foul trouble at VWU, but still managed to score six points, haul in three rebounds, and block a pair of shots. In the home tournament, Dornak averaged 11.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting an impressive 73 percent from the field (8-11). For the week, the junior forward shot 64.7 percent (11-17) from the field. She was named the Helson Hinson Invitational Tournament MVP for her performance.
