Salisbury Women's Basketball Selected to Host NCAA First and Second Rounds; Sea Gulls Open Against Bridgewater State

The Salisbury women's basketball team will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament this Friday and Saturday at Maggs Physical Activities Center.
The Sea Gulls (25-2) will take on Bridgewater State (16-10) in Friday's opening round, with Richard Stockton (21-6) facing off against McDaniel (24-3) in the other first-round matchup. The two first round winners will meet on Saturday with a spot in the Sweet 16 at stake.
Salisbury captured the CAC's automatic bid with a thrilling 74-68 double overtime triumph over Mary Washington in the championship game on Saturday. The win was the Sea Gulls fourth conference title in program history and first since 2002.
