What is your background in the sport you play?  I started playing basketball when I was 5 years old.  Growing up I played on many travel and AAU teams.  I would have to say that I got my jump shot from my from my dad who played college basketball at Waynesburg University.  In high school, I was named first team honorable mention my junior year and first team all-section my senior year.

What is your favorite spot on campus?  My favorite spot on campus is the Student Union Center.  It is home to our gymnasium, where I spend most of my time at, and is where most
students hangout to relax and enjoy good food.

What is the most important societal issue facing college students?  The most important societal issue facing college students would be money.  Due to the economic recession; tuition, gas prices, food, and everyday needs has increased.  Students have trouble finding jobs during school and even after they graduate, which makes it difficult to pay for things.

What is your major in college, and what is the most important thing you learned in that discipline?  My major is interdisciplinary studies that includes both business and computers. The most important thing that I have learned is to take advice from someone who has experienced the real-world and use it to your benefit.

Other than your family members, who was the most influential person
in your life?
The most influential would have to be my coaches and teammates who I
played for and with throughout elementary and college.  My coaches have not only taught me the game but taught me the values of teamwork and to be successful on and off the court. My teammates help keep me grounded and know me the best. It's good to be surrounded by wonderful people.

If you could give one piece of advice to elementary school children, what would that advice be?  One piece of advice I would give to elementary school children would be to enjoy learning and gain as much knowledge as possible. Study and do your homework!

What is your favorite form of entertainment?  My favorite forms of entertainment are music and sports.  Music is around me all the time, when I'm in a car, in my room, riding the bus or warming up for a game.  I like all kinds of music but mostly Hip-Hop and Pop. I also like to watch sports either on TV or in person. I enjoy the thrill of competitive sports.

Outside of the Capital Athletic Conference, who or what is your favorite sports person or team?  My favorite sports team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. I'm originally from Pittsburgh so I grew up watching the Steelers every Sunday. They are known for their hard defense and are going for their sixth Super Bowl title.

Name three (3) people, real or fictional, living or dead, that you'd like to have dinner with.  I would like to have dinner with Pat Summit, Mitch Albom, and Pete Maravich.  Pat Summit is the head coach for the Tennessee Lady Vols. She disciplines her team on the court well and also off the court by making her players sit in the front row of their classes. My dream would to one day be her assistant coach. Mitch Albom is the famous author of Tuesdays with Morrie. He is my favorite author of all time and his books are inspirational lessons in life. Pete Maravich, also known as "Pistol Pete", is the all-time leading scorer in Division I with 3,667 points. His hard work and long hours of practicing definitely paid off for him as he went on to play at LSU and later in the NBA.
