The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 10th week of the 2026 softball season.  Salisbury's Audrey March repeated as C2C Player of the Week, while Christopher Newport's Caroline Alger claimed C2C Pitcher of the Week honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Audrey March, Salisbury

Salisbury freshman Audrey March, a Bel Air, Md. native, helped the Sea Gulls post a 4-2 record this past week. She tallied a .500 batting average, and a 1.000 slugging percentage with two home runs and 11 RBIs on eight hits. She posted two hit games twice and one three hit game. One of the two hit games came against No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Caroline Alger, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport sophomore Caroline Alger earned a victory and a save in CNU's doubleheader sweep on Saturday at Mary Washington. She threw her second straight complete game shutout in the opener, allowing just three hits while striking out eight, and then tossed the final two innings of the nightcap to earn her second save of the season. Alger is now 5-0 since returning from an injury that kept her out for most of the season.

PLAYER: Cora Thomas, Christopher Newport

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Christopher Newport's Cora Thomas scored three times and stole four bases in CNU's doubleheader sweep on Saturday at Mary Washington. The Rookie of the Year last year in the C2C was two-for-five in the twin bill and also reached base with a walk. She also was busy at second base, logging four putouts and nine assists with no errors on her 13 chances on the day.
