Four Salisbury Softball Players Named To NFCA All-Region Team
As the Salisbury University softball team was hosting an NCAA Regional, the accolades continue to roll in from across the country. The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) recently released its 2011 NFCA All-Region teams, and a quartet of Sea Gull student-athletes found their names on the list.
10th-ranked Salisbury saw three of its own land on the Atlantic Region first team: junior pitcher Erika Brittingham, senior catcher Michelle Gravdahl and freshman first baseman Harley Hill. Brittingham and Hill earn the honor for the first time in their careers; Gravdahl and Leary were both first-team selections in 2010.
