Mary Washington junior Sean Healy and York sophomore Tim Hartung were named to the 2011 U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region teams after placing among the top 35 runners in their respective regional championship races Saturday.

Healy, who placed eighth in the 2011 CAC Championship race on Oct. 29, earned all-region recognition after crossing the finish line 22nd overall at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional at Texas Lutheran University on Nov. 12.  He was the first finisher for the ninth-place Eagles at the regional meet.

Hartung earned all-region recognition, and a trip to compete in the 2011 NCAA Championships, by placing ninth overall at the Mid-East Regional hosted by DeSales University.  Hartung, the 2011 CAC individual champion, led the CAC team-champion Spartans to 11th place in the regional team standings.
