The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the 10th week of the 2026 spring tennis season.  Christopher Newport's Nathan Russell was named C2C Men's Tennis Player of the Week, while Mary Washington's Addison Felts claimed C2C Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors.

MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nathan Russell, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport freshman Nathan Russell won both of his matches against No. 8 Johns Hopkins on Sunday with wins at No. 2 singles and No. 3 doubles. First, with playing partner Rainer Christiansen, Russell won 6-3 against Dylan Blenkiron and Brian Yi. Then, in singles play, he picked up a win against regionally-ranked Chakor Rajendra 6-4, 7-6. In the first match of the weekend, Russell dropped a 6-2 decision in doubles and a 6-0, 7-6 setback to 25th-ranked Max Lindstrom at No. 2.

WOMEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Addison Felts, Mary Washington

Mary Washington junior Addison Felts scored an undefeated week as #25 Mary Washington took two of three in Tennessee. She gained a 6-4 win in doubles with Natalie Kim, and a 6-1, 6-0 win at one singles in a 7-0 win over #51 Rhodes, and followed that up with a 6-2 doubles win with Kim at one doubles, and a 6-0, 6-0 win at one singles in a 7-0 win over Berry. On Sunday at #24 Sewanee, she scored a 6-4 win at one doubles leading to UMW gaining the doubles point, and added the Eagles lone singles win at one, 7-6, 6-3.

HONORABLE MENTION

WOMEN: Meleja Horelick, UC Santa Cruz

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

UC Santa Cruz's Meleja Horelick went 5-1 overall, going 2-1 in singles and 3-0 doubles. Horelick clinched the doubles point against Colorado College and UMHB. She later won in straight sets vs. No. 47 UMHB at No. 3 singles.
