Mary Washington and Christopher Newport Win Men's Tennis Semifinal Matchups, Setting Up Championship Rematch

The top two seeds in the CAC Men's Tennis Tournament will once again meet for the conference title as Mary Washington and Christopher Newport claimed semifinal victories on Wednesday. The Eagles and Captains will meet for the CAC Championship for the second straight year on Saturday. 

In Fredericksburg, Va., top-seeded Mary Washington blanked fourth-seeded Southern Virginia 9-0, ending the Knights first CAC postseason appearance. The Eagles will seek their 17th straight CAC title on Saturday. 

In Newport News, Va., second-seeded Christopher Newport defeated third-seeded Salisbury 5-1 to advance to the championship for the second straight season.

Saturday, April 23 - Championship Match
Match 4 - #2 Christopher Newport at #1 Mary Washington, 3 p.m.
