York's Kyle Walthall and Mary Washington's Stephanie Hallock Claim All-America Honors on Final Day of NCAA Swimming Championships

York senior Kyle Walthall and Mary Washington senior Stephanie Hallock each garnered All-America honors on the fourth and final day of the NCAA Division III Swimming Championships on Saturday in Greensboro, N.C. 

Walthall led York to a 27th-place team finish with 32 points at the meet, while UMW's Dallas Tarkenton scored 11 points to lead the Eagle men to 42nd place. On the women's side, UMW finished 35th with 16 points. 

A day after claiming his first career national title, Walthall capped off his career with a seventh-place finish in the 200 breaststroke, securing the sixth All-America honor of his career. Walthall raced to a time of 2:00.19 in the event. 

UMW's Hallock took 15th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.36, gaining her third All-America honor of the national championship meet.

Also competing for UMW were junior Anna Corley and the 400 freestyle relay. Corley finished 27th in the 200 backstroke at 2:06.46, while the 400 freestyle relay of Hallock, Katie Fago, Hannah Hagy and Shannon Coryell placed 23rd at 3:30.92.
