St. Mary's And York Sweep CAC Swimming Dual Meets Saturday
St. Mary's set several pool records and ruined Salisbury's senior day activities while York traveled to Frostburg State and returned with a sweep to highlight Saturday's CAC swimming action.
On the men's side, York clinched at least a tie for second place in the CAC standings with a 120-59 win at FSU. St. Mary's is close behind and can still tie York for second place after Saturday's 137.5-67.5 triumph at Salisbury. In non-conference action, Marymount dropped competitions against Washington & Lee and cross-town rival Catholic.
In women's action, St. Mary's moved into second place with a 3-1 record and reached double-digits in overall wins with a 161-44 victory at Salisbury. York also improved to 2-3 overall with a 110-78 decision at Frostburg State. In non-conference action, Marymount edged Catholic, 132-129, but fell to Washington & Lee by a 156-101 count.
