      <description>Hood College freshman CONNOR ELIFF was selected as the CAC Men&#x2019;s Swimming Athlete of the Week after winning three gold medals and posting two personal-best times in the Blazers&#x2019; victory over Penn State-Altoona.  Eliff&#x2019;s wins in the 400 IM (4:57.65) and 500 freestyle (5:33.44) were season-best performances, and he swam the butterfly leg of Hood&#x2019;s victorious 200-medley relay.</description>

      <title>St. Mary's Soph. Billy DeBoissiere Selected As CAC Men's Swimming Athlete Of The Week</title>

      <description>St. Mary&#x2019;s sophomore BILLY DeBOISSIERE (Columbia, Md./Atholton) was selected as the CAC Men&#x2019;s Swimming Athlete of the Week after winning four events over the weekend, setting a school record, contributing to a pool-record relay team and helping the Seahawks defeat a conference rival for the first time in 10 years.  In Friday&#x2019;s loss to 4th-ranked Johns Hopkins, DeBoissiere recorded SMC&#x2019;s lone victory in the 100 breaststroke (59.85) and set a school record (and the fastest time in the CAC this season) by finishing second in the 1,000 freestyle (10:05.33).  Saturday, he won the 800 freestyle (9:20.60), 200 breaststroke (2:37.06) and was a member of the victorious 400 freestyle relay team (3:42.23) that clinched the Seahawks&#x2019; first win in 10 years against the Sea Gulls on the last event of the meet.</description>

      <description>Mary Washington sophomore NICK ECKHOFF (Williamsburg, Va./Jamestown) was selected as the CAC Men&#x2019;s Swimming Athlete of the Week after winning three individual events over the weekend as the Eagles topped St. Mary&#x2019;s, Marymount and Salisbury to conclude the regular season with a 6-0 record.  Eckhoff, the 2010 CAC Rookie of the Year, captured gold in a rare combination of the 1,000 freestyle (10:09.10) and 100 free (48.29) against SMC, then took top honors in the 200 IM (2:01.74) in the tri-meet with Marymount and Salisbury.</description>

      <description>Salisbury senior DREW ROBICHAUD (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) was selected as the CAC Men&#x2019;s Swimming Athlete of the Week after contributing three individual first-place finishes in Saturday&#x2019;s CAC victory at Hood.  Robichaud touched the wall first in the 1,000 freestyle, 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke as the Sea Gulls improved to 2-1 in conference action.</description>

      <description>St. Mary&#x2019;s sophomore CAMERON HEDQUIST (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) was selected as the CAC Men&#x2019;s Swimming Athlete of the Week after setting one school record and contributing to two others as the Seahawks recorded their best-ever finish at the Franklin &amp; Marshall Invitational.  Hedquist finished second in the 200 freestyle, setting one school record.  He also recorded a second-place finish in the 200 IM and fourth in the 50 freestyle at the nine-team, two-day event.  He also contributed to record-setting 800 freestyle (second place) and 400 freestyle (fourth place) relay teams.</description>

      <description>Mary Washington senior STEPHEN CLENDENIN (Ashburn, Va./Home schooled) was selected as the CAC Men&#x2019;s Swimming Athlete of the Week after setting a school and conference record in one victory and adding three other silver medals and one bronze at the NCAA Division I Western Kentucky Hilltopper Invitational.  Clendenin set the CAC and UMW record by winning the 400 individual medley in 3:59.77.  He also added second-place finishes in the 200 IM (1:54.02), 200 butterfly (1:53.95), 400 medley relay (3:29.40) and was third in the 200 backstroke (1:54.73).</description>

      <description>Salisbury sophomore PAUL ZOLI (Fallston, Md./Fallston) was selected as the CAC Men&#x2019;s Swimming Athlete of the Week after winning two events and contributing to a record-setting relay team in the Sea Gulls&#x2019; meet against Catholic.  Zoli was part of Salisbury&#x2019;s 800-meter freestyle relay team that shattered the pool record by 20 seconds in the final event of the day, covering the distance in 8:21.59.  Zoli also won the 200 freestyle (2:03.31) and 400 freestyle (4:31.70) against the Cardinals.</description>

      <description>St. Mary&#x2019;s freshman THOR PETERSEN (Germantown, Md./Northwest) was selected as the CAC Men&#x2019;s Swimming Athlete of the Week after winning five gold medals in six races on the team&#x2019;s season-opening weekend.  Petersen took top honors in the 100 breaststroke and 500 freestyle while finishing second in the 200 IM against Catholic University.  He then followed up with top performances in the 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly and 1,000 freestyle in SMC&#x2019;s victory over CAC rival Marymount.</description>
