The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the fourth week of the 2025 men's soccer season. Christopher Newport's Drew McWhinney took home C2C Offensive Player of the Week honors, while the Captains Hayden Dewey earned C2C Defensive Player of the Week recognition.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Drew McWhinney, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport junior Drew McWhinney scored twice against No. 4 Trinity (Texas) in leading No. 20 CNU to a 3-2 win in a neutral site game. He scored in the first minute of the game against the Tigers to give the Captains a 1-0 lead. After Trinity evened the score, McWhinney then put the Captains ahead again with an unassisted tally in the 15th minute. He led the Captains with five shots and put four on-goal in the win.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hayden Dewey, Christopher Newport

Christopher Newport senior Hayden Dewey captured two wins, making it six in a row, when the Captains traveled to Texas to face No. 4 Trinity (Texas) and Hardin-Simmons. He made four saves in both games to earn the win while surrendering two goals. Dewey picked up a shutout against the host Cowboys, marking the third of the season, and improved to 6-0-2 on the season.

HONORABLE MENTION

OFFENSIVE: Connor Pyles, Salisbury

C2C HIGHLIGHTS

Salisbury's Connor Pyles scored first career goal versus Rutgers-Camden. He tallied the game-winner with two seconds remaining for the 2-1 victory.
