Frostburg State And Wesley Selected To Compete In ECAC South Men's Soccer Tournament
The Frostburg State and Wesley men's soccer teams were selected to compete in the eight-team ECAC South Championship Tournament, and both the Bobcats and Wolverines will hit the road Wednesday for first-round contests.
FSU (11-3-4) is seeded fifth in the ECAC South Tournament and will travel to fourth-seeded Swarthmore (11-6-0) Wednesday for a first-round contest.
The winner will qualify for the tournament semifinal round against the winner of top-seeded Alvernia (15-4-1) against eighth-seeded Wesley (8-6-5).
The Bobcat men's team has earned the fifth seed in the ECAC South Championship after finishing 11-3-4 overall. It's the first postseason appearance for the Bobcats since back-to-back trips to the ECAC Tournament in 2007 and 2008
