For the second straight year, Salisbury and York will represent the Capital Athletic Conference in the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament. Both the Sea Gulls and Spartans earned first-round byes and will host second-round contests on Wednesday, May 10.
Second-ranked Salisbury (17-1), which defeated York 15-5 in the CAC championship game for its 20th conference title in program history, will host the winner of a first-round matchup between Misericordia (12-3) and Lasell (13-3). The Sea Gulls will aim to defend their national championship and are seeking the 12th national title in program history.
Fifth-ranked York (16-3) will host Morrisville State (10-5). The NCAA appearance is the second straight and third overall for the Spartans, who advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time in program history last spring before falling to Gettysburg in overtime, 7-6.
