Salisbury to Host Roanoke in NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament First Round

NCAA Tournament Bracket

The No. 8 Salisbury men's lacrosse team will open the 2015 NCAA Tournament at home against Roanoke on Wednesday at Sea Gull Stadium. The Sea Gulls captured the program's 19th CAC title on Saturday with a 14-5 victory over Frostburg State.

Salisbury (15-4) is making its 27th straight NCAA appearance under head coach Jim Berkman, who has never missed the postseason tournament since taking over the program in 1989.

Roanoke (12-6) received an at-large bid after falling to No. 4 Lynchburg in the ODAC Championship game on Sunday.

This will mark the 28th all-time meeting between the Sea Gulls and Maroons, with it being the fifth NCAA tournament matchup. Salisbury is 4-0 over Roanoke in the national tournament and holds a 19-8 all-time record in the series, including a current 16-game winning streak.
