Senior midfielder Sam Bradman of the No. 1 Salisbury University men's lacrosse team was named a nominee for the 2012 Tewaaraton Award. The list of 25 finalists, for both men's and women's NCAA lacrosse, was announced by the Tewaaraton Foundation on Wednesday.

The list of 50 student-athletes will be narrowed down to 10 (five men and five women) finalists for the 12th annual award on May 31 at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. The Tewaarton Award is presented each May to the nation's top male and female collegiate lacrosse players by the Greater Washington Sports Alliance.
