Stevenson's Dailey, Douglass, Menendez And St. Mary's Rosson Gain USILA Academic Recognition
Stevenson's Jimmy Dailey, Evan Douglas, Kyle Menendez, along with St. Mary's senior Dennis Rosson, were named to the 2011 U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-America team.
In 1989, the USILA Scholar All-America Program was established
to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who
have distinguished themselves academically, athletically, and as
citizens of their communities. The USILA Selection Committee
selects an overall team representing Divisions I, II and III.
The Scholar All-Americans are recognized at the annual USILA
All-America Reception on Sunday, May 29, 2011.
In addition to being the 2011 CAC Player of the Year, Dailey
owned a 2.833 grade point average and graduated with a bachelor of
science degree in business administration. He was also a CAC
All-Academic Team selection in 2010.
Douglass had a 2.853 grade point average, also graduating with a
bachelor of science degree in business administration.
Meanwhile, Menendez boasted a 4.000 grade point average during his
lone year with the Mustangs after transferring from the University
of Virginia. He will graduate in December 2011 with a bachelor of
science degree in interdisciplinary studies.
