Four from the CAC have been honored on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Middle-Atlantic District Team, announced Thursday. Christopher Newport sophomore Marcus Carter and head coach John Krikorian were named District Player and Coach of the Year, respectively, while CNU junior Tim Daly and Salisbury junior Gordon Jeter earned second team honors. 

Carter, who was selected D3hoops.com All-Region earlier in the week, was named first team All-District and District Player of the Year. The recognition for Carter adds to his growing resume. He was named the CAC Player of the Year this season and also was twice selected Player of the Week in the CAC. Carter leads the squad in scoring, averaging almost 16 points per game and also is pulling down seven rebounds per contest. Of the eight All-District Players of the Year,  Carter was the only underclassman. 

Daly was a first team All-CAC pick this year. The junior has averaged 13 points and almost eight rebonds per game.

Krikorian, who is in his sixth season at the helm of the Captains, was named the CAC's Coach of the Year after leading his squad to an 18-0 conference mark. CNU became just the second team in the 26-year history of the CAC to go undefeated through a conference schedule. He is now 132-38 at CNU for a winning percentage of .776.

Salisbury's Jeter adds another postseason award to his collection after also being named to the D3hoops.com All-Region second team and the All-CAC first team this season. Jeter led the Sea Gulls with 13.6 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per contest. The inside-out threat shot 36 percent from outside, hitting 18-of-50 three-pointers. Jeter's 46 assists were third on the team, while had a team-best 29 blocks on the year.
