CAC Men's Basketball Player Of The Year Paul Reynolds Invited To Play In Div. III Senior All-Star Game Saturday In Salem, Va.
Wesley College's Paul Reynolds has been selected to play in the 2013 Reese's Division III College All-Star game, which will be played as part of the 2013 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship, it was announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Tuesday morning.
The Reese's Division III College All-Star game will be played on Saturday, March 23, at 3:30 p.m. (EDT), prior to the NCAA Division III semifinals at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va. The teams are composed of two senior student-athletes from each of the eight regions in Division III nominated by coaches and selected by a panel of coaches representing each region in Division III. A native of Wilmington, Del., Reynolds, who will play for the East Team, is the first Wolverines player to be selected to play in the Division III All-Star Game. The six-foot-four, 245 pound forward averaged 20.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.1 steals in his final season and was named the Capital Athletic Conference and ECAC Player of the Year.
The Reese's All-Star game will feature a pair of outstanding former coaches who have both been recipients of the NABC Division III Distinguished Service Award. Former York College coach Jeff Gamber will lead the East team, while former Albion College coach Mike Turner will coach the West team.
