2025 All-C2C Baseball Teams and Awards Announced
The 2025 Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Baseball All-Conference honors were revealed. Below are the recipients:
Player of the Year: Dylan Winebrenner – Salisbury
Winebrenner highlighted the individual awards after leading the C2C in RBI (49), doubles (14), and home runs (8). He hit .381 in 38 games with 56 hits to become the fifth consecutive Sea Gull to claim player of the year recogntion.
Pitcher of the Year: Brendan McComber – Mary Washington
McComber led the league in ERA (1.64) to claim pitching distinction. He posted five wins in 12 appearances and recorded 50 strikeouts in 49.1 innings pitched.
Rookie of the Year: Noah Burroughs – Salisbury
Burroughs put up striking numbers in his first year ranking in the top 3 of the league in batting average (.384), RBI (46), home runs (7), and stolen bases (14) while starting all 38 games.
Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Burke Steifman – Mary Washington
Steifman, a business administration major and finance minor, received outstanding student and athlete recognition. He hit .282 in 18 games for UMW, scoring five times against Hampden-Sydney which tied a program record.
Coaching Staff of the Year: Kelly Swiney – Mary Washington
Swiney claimed his first coaching honor after guiding the Eagles to a 25-12 overall record and a 3-1 mark in C2C play.
Player of the Year: Dylan Winebrenner – Salisbury
Pitcher of the Year: Brendan McComber – Mary Washington
Rookie of the Year: Noah Burroughs – Salisbury
Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Burke Steifman – Mary Washington
Coaching Staff of the Year: Kelly Swiney – Mary Washington
