Top-seeded Salisbury and third-seeded Penn State Harrisburg both ran through their respective pods with perfect 3-0 records on the opening weekend of the CAC Baseball Tournament, advancing the Sea Gulls and Lions to next weekend's best-of-three CAC Championship series.

Salisbury will host Penn State Harrisburg in the CAC Championship beginning with game one next Friday at 3:30 p.m. Game two will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m., with the if necessary game three set for 2 p.m. 

In Salisbury, Md., the host Sea Gulls advanced to their seventh straight CAC Championship with an 11-3 victory over third-seeded York. Scott Ardoin led SU at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored. 

In Newport News, Va., Penn State Harrisburg advanced to its first-ever CAC Championship with an 8-2 triumph against host and second-seeded Christopher Newport. Bret Williams hit a three-run homer for the Lions, while Alex Cline went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. This marks Penn State Harrisburg's first-ever trip to the CAC baseball tournament championship.
