York and Salisbury posted double-digit wins in the first two games of the day, followed by an extra-inning nailbiter that Mary Washington won but included an NCAA record for double plans in a game, in Friday's second round of the 2013 CAC Baseball Tournament at Salisbury University.

In the first game of the day, York erupted for 15 runs as the fifth-seeded Spartans downed sixth-seeded St. Mary's, 15-5, in a Capital Athletic Conference Tournament elimination game.  York will play the second game of Saturday's third round, Game 8 in the tournament, against third-seeded Wesley at 12:30 p.m.

In the second game, top-seeded Salisbury mashed six home runs in the second round of the 2013 CAC baseball tournament, dispatching fourth-seeded Frostburg State, 22-5.  The tournament host Sea Gulls, ranked fourth in NCAA Division III, advance to Saturday's first game (9 a.m.) against second-seeded Mary Washington.

In the third game, Mary Washington overcame two late deficits to defeat Wesley, 6-5. In the game, Wesley set an NCAA Division III record for turning seven double plays against UMW.  The Eagles will face host Salisbury on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in a winners-bracket game while Wesley will try to stay alive in the tournament when theWolverines face York at 12:30 p.m.
